Title of Presentation: At Work in an Integrated Care Setting: A Day in the Life for a Behavioral Health Provider

It’s time to get concrete about what a behavioral health provider’s role can be within integration settings. This webinar will walk through of the roles and functions of team members, ways you can leverage the benefits of a multidisciplinary care team for your client’s needs, why behavioral health providers are integration champions, and more. This is the second of a two-part integration “nuts and bolts” webinar series designed to support behavioral health providers in expanding skills and impact when part of integrated care environments, be sure to join us for the journey!

Learning Objectives: After completing this webinar, participants will be able to:

LO#1: Describe at least four behavioral health provider roles and functions in the IBH setting
LO#2: Describe the roles and functions of three other IBH team member providers
LO#3: Identify at least three ways in which IBH behavioral health providers can leverage the benefits of a multidisciplinary care team for a client’s needs,

Presenter Bios
 
Kristin Potterbusch: is a Senior Program Manager in the Clinical and Quality Partners team. Kristin joined PCDC in 2019 as program director to lead and grow a three-year Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) program for building the capacity and sustainability of Ryan White funded HIV/AIDS service providers across the country. Kristin currently works across initiatives to advance and promote integrated care, a CDC-funded High Impact Prevention project, and supports other work aligned with promotion of health equity. Julie Schilz is a Senior Director on the Clinical and Quality Partners team. She joined PCDC in 2022 to support initiatives focused on Primary Care Integration. Prior to PCDC, Julie held several executive leadership roles with community, provider and payer organizations developing and implementing strategy focused on value, delivery system reform and primary care transformation. Julie has dedicated her career to working on innovative solutions within health care and communities that are person and family centered with a focus on equityClick here for Julie’s full bio.
