Description

This training will address interprofessional communication, advocacy and pressing policy issues (e.g., value-based payment, payment reform) within the context of integrated behavioral health and equity and justice focused IBH care. 

Learning Objectives

LO 1: Define key concepts and tools for effective equity and justice-focused interprofessional communication
LO 2: Define key concepts and tools for effective equity and justice-focused advocacy
LO 3: Describe pressing policy issues such as value-based payment and payment reform that impact integrated behavioral health and equitable healthcare access and treatment

Presenter Bio

Deena Lahn is Vice President, Policy and External Affairs at San Francisco Community Clinic Consortium, where she works with local, state, and national partners and policy makers to advance the interest of community health centers and their patients. Previous jobs included leadership roles at the Children’s Defense Fund, the Child Care Law Center, and the Emergency Services Network of Alameda County.

Webinar Format

The Zoom webinar will be live, recorded, closed captioned, and offered in English with a Spanish translation audio feed. Participants will be able to ask questions via Q&A function.
